SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Staff Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our Go-to-market team. You will serve as a technical expert, working closely with the head of global partnerships and across our solution engineering organization, with a primary focus on global partnerships. You will be responsible for defining the technical strategy, solving complex problems, and acting as a force multiplier in creating and enabling new partnerships between technology companies and Rasa. This is an individual contributor role with significant organizational influence and technical autonomy. You will also guide key partnership accounts through technical validations, which may include building demos, delivering technical presentations, or supporting an architecture review. You will report to the Director of Solutions Engineering.

Full-time - 100% remote - Location: UK, Germany, Serbia or USA (Eastern Time Zone) - with a strong preference for candidates based in the UK

  • Rasa can only assist with work authorization (visa sponsorship) for this position if you are located in Germany.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission. We're scaling our Go to Market team including our pre-Sales team to be technical liaisons for our Partnership and Sales teams. As a Staff Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you'll make an impact on your team by:

  • Engage with key technology partner companies by presenting Rasa’s technology while addressing any technical questions or concerns that arise during the setup of the partnership.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Rasa’s products and technology and work closely with the Product and Sales teams to resolve technical blockers

  • Educate partners on Rasa’s products

  • Build demo assistants to showcase our technology for partners' use cases

  • Ensure that the proof of concepts and the technical evaluations are successful

  • Collect market insights and product feedback from conversations with partners and pass them on to the product team

  • Define and articulate the strategic roadmap for partners’ initiatives, ensuring every project aligns with long-term business objectives

  • Anticipates and resolves communication bottlenecks

  • Establish guidelines and best practices for demo creation and maintenance done by the partners

  • Mentor the solution engineering team via collaboration and high-quality technical sessions

ABOUT YOU
  • 7+ Years in a customer-facing role (Sales/Solutions Engineer or Enterprise Architect or similar)

  • Deep proficiency and experience in Software Engineering through a previous role

  • Experience in working with Fortune 500 companies

  • You should be an expert with at least one programming language (ideally Python)

  • Great presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

  • Strong desire to help people, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time

The Solutions Engineering (SE) Team at Rasa is the functional and technical bridge between our cutting-edge conversational AI platform and the world’s most ambitious enterprises. We don’t just "demo" software; we act as trusted advisors, helping prospective customers navigate the complex AI landscape to build solutions that drive genuine business impact.

We are a lean, high-impact group of technical storytellers. Currently, the team consists of:

  • Director of SE and resident player-coach, who stays close to the tech while guiding our global strategy.

  • A Global Footprint: We are a distributed team across North America and Europe. Currently, we have 1.5 SEs covering North America and 2 SEs based in England and France.
