About the Team
The team is a product engineering team focused on building 0-to-1 products that elevate the clinical experience. From smarter workflows to real-time feedback, we explore new ideas across the care journey that drive outcomes, delight users, and advance Dandy’s mission. If you're excited by experimentation, ambiguity, and shaping strategy through execution, this is the team for you.
What You’ll Do
Define the technical strategy for new products while co-driving product strategy with cross-functional partners
Lead engineering efforts across the stack, from architecture through implementation and delivery
Serve as a technical thought partner to product and design, grounding decisions in both vision and pragmatic execution
Uphold a high bar for engineering quality, reliability, and operational excellence
Shape and reinforce a team culture focused on speed, experimentation, and continuous learning
Guide the team through ambiguity and rapid iteration, helping them move fast without sacrificing long-term quality
Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, and strategic planning — raising the bar for the entire group
Act as a steward for the long-term technical health and direction of the team
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading complex product initiatives
Strong track record of driving 0-to-1 product development in dynamic, high-growth environments
Experience shaping technical direction and making strategic tradeoffs at a system and product level
Proven ability to influence team culture and set standards for quality, velocity, and innovation
Deep fluency with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, etc.)
Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Product-minded and user-obsessed — you think in outcomes, not just outputs
A bias toward ownership, fast execution, and raising the bar
