About the Role:
Relativity is on a mission to change the way rockets are built and flown, expanding the possibilities for human experience. To do that, we’ll need to create development experiences that expand the possibilities of our own people. We’re looking for a Staff Program Manager to refine and scale our People Leadership Development programs. This person will report to the Head of Talent Development and will be on-site at our Long Beach, CA, HQ.
What You’ll Do:
- Program Management: Lead the implementation, execution, and analysis of all people leader experiences and programs, including program design & management, training design & facilitation, vendor management, survey design & analysis, and internal marketing & communications.
- Drive Leadership Development Strategy: Partner with the Head of Talent Development to refine and execute our People Leadership Development strategy.
- Own People Leadership Learning Journey: Create a clear and cohesive people leader journey, starting with first-time managers, that provides relevant, ongoing, and impactful learning experiences to Relativity Space’s People Leaders.
- Assessment Administration: Identify, implement, and administer individual and team assessments that people leaders can use to understand strengths and development opportunities for themselves and their team(s).
- Collaboration: Partner with DEI, Talent Acquisition, People Ops, and our People Business Partners to ensure our people leader programs integrate and align across the business.
- Effective and Actionable Reporting: At the program level: Identify and leverage quantitative and qualitative data to continuously improve our people leader programs; at the personal level: Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to people leaders based on assessment and survey reporting.
- Elevate People Leadership at Relativity: Track emerging people development technologies, trends, and best practices, and identify opportunities to leverage them with our team.
About You:
In previous experiences, you’ve built and managed people leader programs. You’re comfortable in all aspects of program management, from conducting needs analysis and designing program experiences to implementing large-scale programs and analyzing the impact/results. You have a strong understanding of what it takes to be an exceptional people leader and can effectively develop and coach others on what it takes to get there. You are strategic in how you design and implement development programs, balancing the needs of the learner with the demands of the business. You’re a strong collaborator and communicator, comfortable working with people leaders at all levels, and across all teams, to create alignment and engagement around the initiatives you develop. In this role you’ll serve as a role model to all people leaders, creating a culture of learning and growth that aligns with and enhances our company values and principles.
What You Have:
- 4-6 years of experience in program management within a People/HR team and 3-4 years designing and delivering people leader programs.
- Expertise in curriculum design, instructional best practices, and coaching/facilitating discussions with people leaders.
- Experience with individual and team assessments (e.g., Hogan Assessment, 360s, DISC); Preference to Hogan and DISC Certifications
- Strong project management, organizational skills, and passion for people development with high self-awareness and creative problem-solving abilities.
