Job Description:
As the Staff Product Marketing Manager for Hivemind, the leading Global Autonomy Platform, you will be responsible for translating cutting-edge autonomy technology into market-ready value propositions. You will define product positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption across commercial, defense, and international markets for Hivemind Enterprise, Solutions, and Vision.

You’ll serve as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, and Marketing—ensuring that what we build and how we communicate it align with customer needs, mission outcomes, and business growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and storytelling excellence.

What you'll do:

  • Define and evolve clear, differentiated value propositions and positioning for the Hivemind platform and its product lines.
  • Translate complex technical architecture and product capabilities into compelling narratives for multiple audiences, including defense, government, and commercial buyers.
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) plans for product launches, updates, and new applications across regions and verticals.
  • Create and manage sales enablement tools, including product decks, one-pagers, competitive briefs, and field training materials.
  • Partner with Product, BD, and Sales teams to ensure roadmap milestones are translated into clear, customer-facing messaging.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and campaign strategy.
  • Track adoption, message resonance, and ROI of product marketing initiatives through clear metrics and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Strategic and Solutions Marketing leads to ensure product-level messaging aligns with the broader Hivemind story.

Required qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, consulting, or related fields, ideally in AI, defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome-oriented messaging.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for multi-product portfolios.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams across Product, Sales, and Engineering.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing performance metrics and market insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
