What is the Staff Product Manager role?

As Staff Product Manager, you will have the product vision and strategy for CoPilotIQ’s pre-operative care product.  You will participate in business strategy, customer insights, product concepting and execution, and working across all functions to deliver amazing products for patients, providers, and payers.  You will bring a clear focus on speed and innovation, the latest in AI first experience product techniques and a strong data backed foundation. You work with one foot outside of the team, understanding needs, opportunities, and priorities, and then communicating that back to the team. You will spend a good amount of time working with customers and business stakeholders to understand all aspects of the functional outcome that must be achieved and express the solution as a collection of requirements, stated in the form of User Stories, and accompanied by a set of Acceptance Criteria that must be met by the solution, which is designed by the team.  You will represent the problem, and the cross-functional team (PM+PD+XD), will design the solution.  

This is a leadership position, reporting to the Chief Product and Design Officer and sitting on the product leadership team.  You will be integral to overall business strategy, customer insights, product concepting and execution, and working across all functions to deliver a future vision for amazing products for

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a business leader:
    • Collaborate effectively with other functions in the organization - Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Product Development, Customer Success and be the accountable product leader of all customer-facing experiences for pre-operative care. 
    • Partner with your leader partners across Product, Sales, Marketing, PD, Data Analytics and Customer success to leverage design as a thought leader in strategic innovation
    • Be a futurist, product visionary and a change agent. 
    • Understand and balance the customer and business needs to drive cross-functional partnership, collaboration and decision making.
  • As a product leader:
    • Lead product delivery of significant E2E (end-to-end) scope, complexity and responsibility in creative vision, strategy and execution
    • Contribute to the creative culture of the product team through design critique, strong partnership across engineering and design, fostering a highly collaborative/creative environment.
    • Work closely with other CopilotIQ  teams, ensuring world class product quality end to end, across all product competencies.
    • Leverage AI to create the healthcare products of the future. 
    • Conduct in-depth research to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelors; Master's preferred in Product Management, Business, or Computer Science or equivalent experience, preference for experience delivering AI driven product experiences. 
  • 6+ years’ experience delivering products/ services
  • Deep knowledge of customer centric product and design methods of innovation and ideation
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility 
  • Knowledge of service design~ and how to effectively build services that improve the quality and the interaction between the service provider and customers.
  • Strong skills in communication (written, verbal, and visual), influence and persuasion
