Join us in creating a better way!

At eHealth, our mission is to expertly guide consumers through their health insurance and related options when, where, and how they prefer. We’re creating a better way – one that’s transparent and trustworthy for both our consumers externally and our employees internally.

Move your career forward while connecting countless people to the life- changing, quality care they deserve. Our diverse team of innovators supports one another in solving some of the toughest challenges. We’re always on the lookout for creative opportunities to do right by our customers, and each other. Together, we’re creating a better way to work, united by our common passion to make a difference.

The Staff Product Manager does more than “gather requirements from stakeholders.” We are looking for PMs who are both tactical AND strategic. We work with marketers, designers, and engineers to solve some of the most complex, emotionally fraught problems consumers will ever face in their lives. So, we take the insights we’ve gained about our customers, how they shop for healthcare, and their needs, and use them to help shape product strategy and invent new products.

You will also have to see both sides of the products. Not only will you see products from the customer viewpoint, but you’ll also learn about how they are shaped by insurance agencies and the government. If you want to be in the middle of one of the most important conversations in America, then work here.

If you have a passion for eCommerce and SEO, this is an interesting place to hone your craft. We aren’t trying to convince people to want some cool new app – we are trying to help them feel more comfortable with something they absolutely have to buy. We are always asking ourselves where we might be losing, confusing, or distressing our customers, and what we can do to fix that. It’s a fun and absorbing challenge.

Our company has revolutionized the distribution of health insurance in this country and we’ve only just begun. You could be one of us if you…

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
