The Loyalty & Rewards Product team at Navan is dedicated to designing and building a world-class loyalty experience that incentivizes and delights our most frequent travelers. As our Senior Product Manager responsible for Loyalty & Rewards, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and elevating customer engagement with a best-in-class loyalty ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, UX designers, data analysts, Go-To-Market teams, and engineers to conceptualize, create, and launch highly impactful loyalty capabilities tailored specifically to the needs of frequent flyers.

This role requires deep expertise in developing loyalty and rewards solutions, ideally with previous exposure to airline and/or hotel loyalty programs. The successful candidate will be customer-obsessed, data-driven, and passionate about enhancing the user’s travel journey through personalized rewards, inspiring loyalty, and improving the overall travel experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Navan’s Loyalty & Rewards program to drive engagement and retention of frequent business travelers.
  • Design and implement innovative loyalty features and reward mechanisms based on competitive insights, user research, performance metrics, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with UX, data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the product strategy is properly translated across teams and delivered successfully.
  • Actively conduct and integrate feedback from frequent travelers and enterprise stakeholders into the growth and optimization of the loyalty offering.
  • Become the subject matter expert on customer loyalty, rewards best practices, airline/hotel loyalty trends, competitor programs, and industry benchmarks to continuously evolve Navan’s loyalty strategy.
  • Define measurable goals, establish KPIs, and closely track program performance to inform roadmap prioritization and deliver maximum impact.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in product management, preferably building customer loyalty and rewards programs for airlines, hotels, or leading consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing, launching, and scaling loyalty products and features, with measurable results on retention and customer lifetime value.
  • Expertise in analyzing loyalty program metrics, customer data, user behavior insights, and performance analytics to improve product offer.
  • Experience leading highly cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX designers, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize ruthlessly based on business impact, customer value, and product vision—consistently demonstrating sound decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical background combined with deep user empathy and intuition.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Relevant technical, product, or marketing education/experience preferred.
  • Passionate about travel, loyalty ecosystems, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Join Navan and help shape the future of loyalty for global business travelers—creating experiences they can't imagine traveling without!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
