Who is Boulevard?

Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.

Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive. Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen.

We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most.

Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.

Come Do The Best Work Of Your Life At Boulevard.

Marketing Tech at Boulevard is a mission-critical growth engine for our customers, and a major revenue driver for us. It powers how service-based businesses attract, engage, and retain clients, helping them grow through capabilities like automated and blast campaigns, transactional notifications, smart audience targeting and two-way messaging across SMS and email - with much more to come. As their investment in these tools scales, so does the value they get from Boulevard - making this one of the most strategically important areas of our platform.

As a Staff Product Manager, you’ll work closely with Boulevard’s executive team and collaborate across engineering, design, data, product marketing, customer success, and sales. You'll help lead the next wave of innovation in how businesses engage with their clients, building capabilities that reach the right people, at the right time, with precision that drives real business outcomes. This is about making bold bets on where marketing is going next, raising the bar for personalization, timing, and effectiveness across the board.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll influence what we build, how we build it, and how fast we get it out the door, delivering results that grow our customers' businesses and Boulevard’s bottom line.

What You’ll Do Here:
  • Solve real customer problems by delivering the right solutions to the right users at the right time
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and executives to influence vision, strategy, and roadmap for Marketing Tech
  • Lead product discovery and execution with engineering, design, data, and marketing
  • Shape monetization strategy to drive both customer success and Boulevard revenue
  • Translate deep customer understanding into impactful, easy-to-use features
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and iterate based on data and feedback
  • Partner closely with engineering to guide technical decisions and ensure quality and speed
  • Influence go-to-market, pricing, and packaging in partnership with product marketing and sales
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations (e.g., TCPA, SMS, email marketing standards)
  • Mentor PMs and contribute to a strong, collaborative product culture
What You’ll Need to Thrive:
  • Proven success as a Lead, Group, Staff, or Principal PM in B2B or SaaS environments
  • Deep product management expertise, with the ability to coach and elevate others
  • Experience with marketing platforms, messaging tools, campaign systems, or workflow builders
  • Experience building products for both SMB and upmarket (mid-market to enterprise) customers
  • Background in driving monetization and growth for marketing or comms products
  • Strong customer mindset - you champion user needs while balancing business goals
  • Comfort navigating technical trade-offs with engineering partners
  • Strong cross-functional leadership - you align and inspire across teams and execs
  • Clear, data-informed decision-making with a bias for action and impact
  • Ownership mentality - you take accountability and constantly push for better outcomes

Your starting budgeted cash compensation for this role is between $161,000 and $230,000 USD, depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This salary range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement.

In addition to the wonderful people you’ll get to work with and challenging projects that’ll push you - Boulevard is here to make sure you’re always at the top of your game emotionally, mentally, and physically.

  • ✨ We’ve got you covered with a 401(k) match plus dental, medical, vision, and life insurance.

  • 🏝 Take a break whenever you need with our flexible vacation day policy.

  • 🖥 Fully remote so you can choose where you want to work. You’ll receive a work from home stipend every month.

  • 💚 Family planning resources and specialized support programs.

  • 🔮 Equity: get ahead on the ground floor and grow with Boulevard.

  • 💅 Boulevard Bucks Learning and Development program allows employees to explore businesses in the market we serve.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
