This role involves leading Jump's engagement strategy, enhancing product use among financial advisors to drive retention and growth through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
The summary above was generated by AI

Jump is the AI operating system for financial advisors, transforming meetings, emails, and documents into structured data, automated workflows, and compliance-ready outputs.

Founded in 2022, Jump delivers AI-powered capabilities that reduce busywork, uncover growth opportunities, and elevate the advisor-client relationship—while maintaining industry-leading compliance.

We’re building the intelligence layer that powers the modern advisory firm—helping advisors save time, grow faster, and deliver better outcomes for their clients.

About the Role

Jump has strong engagement with advisors on Meet where they see immediate value. The opportunity now is depth: getting advisors to use Jump across more of their workflow, more consistently, and in ways that make switching feel unthinkable.

This is a Staff PM role focused entirely on engagement, frequency, breadth, and depth of product use across the advisor base. It's as much a commercial role as a product role. You'll own the metrics that tie directly to retention and expansion, and you'll work across the full product surface to move them.

What You'll Do

• Own Jump's engagement strategy end-to-end: define what frequency, breadth, and depth mean for our advisor base and build the roadmap to get there

• Instrument and move the engagement metrics that matter and build the visibility that makes them actionable across the org

• Identify the product changes, in-app experiences, and behavioral moments that drive durable engagement

• Partner with cross-functionally to understand where advisors fall off and design interventions that pull them back before they churn

• Run structured experiments; validate with data, ship with conviction, and communicate results clearly to leadership

What We're Looking For

• 8–12+ years of PM experience with meaningful time in growth, engagement, or retention-focused roles

• A proven track record of actually moving engagement or retention metrics through product changes, not just making recommendations

• Systems thinker: you see how individual product decisions compound into behavioral patterns at scale

• Commercially literate: you understand how engagement maps to revenue and you can make that case persuasively to leadership and the board

• Experience influencing roadmaps across multiple product areas without direct ownership

• Deep understanding of data, metrics, and levers that move them. Proactively dives into understanding the data with an analyst and/or themselves

• High ownership mindset: you take initiative and follow through

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech, AI, or SaaS. Genuine curiosity about financial advisor workflows and the wealth management industry

• Startup or high-growth environment experience

• Understanding of data quality and potential

How We Work at Jump

• We move fast and prioritize impact over perfection

• We focus on real customer value, not just features

• We operate with high ownership and low ego

• We value clarity, direct communication, and strong execution

• We're building for scale

• We show up hungry: we want to win, and we act like it every day

Compensation & Benefits

• $200,000 - $220,00 (commensurate with experience)

• Equity

• Flexible PTO

• $500 WFH Stipend

• Medical: $0 premium health plan for your family

• Ancillary Benefits: Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Indemnity, etc.

• Tax Savings: 401k, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Commuter, etc.

• Laptop + $500 budget for workspace setup

• Paid Parental Leave: 2-4 weeks non-birthing, 6-16 weeks birthing, depending on tenure

Why This Role Matters

Engagement is the connective tissue between adoption, user experience, and retention. This role directly shapes whether advisors build Jump into the core of how they work and whether they stay. The work of this PM will directly impact the success of Jump and its products.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Jump is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
