Who We Are

We started our company to help others launch and run their own businesses, at any stage. The way we help is by keeping it simple and supporting entrepreneurs one step at a time. Put simply: our mission is to enable anyone to start, run, and grow their business while avoiding the common pitfalls that derail hopeful entrepreneurs. No more having to wade through forms, taxes, or ongoing state compliance.

We are a remote company based in Austin, Texas. We have team members from Florida to Oregon and all points in-between. Take pride in your work knowing that it shapes how people all across the country reach their goal of starting, running, and growing their business.

If the idea of helping people and working with a genuinely caring, supportive team excites you, then you’ve come to the right place.

The Role

Come join our ZenBusiness product team as a Growth Product Manager focusing on our LLC and corporation funnels. We are looking for a product leader who is steeped in the latest product-led growth techniques and also has great sensibilities in online customer acquisition and conversion rate optimization tactics.

Your primary focus will be identifying new growth opportunities to help us turn site visitors into first time business owners. You’ll excel in this role if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you enjoy owning the product lifecycle along with business impact from idea through execution.

This position will report to the VP of Product and is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • A/B testing & experimentation: Lead experimentation efforts with Product & Engineering to test new features & UX optimizations that improve the conversion rate of visitors who start our funnel.
  • Checkout & payment acceptance optimization: Streamline our checkout flows by eliminating cognitive load and ensuring customers can complete purchases with their preferred payment method—whether that’s credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other device-optimized options. Act as a thought leader across the company when it comes to checkout and payment acceptance.
  • Lead to conversion rate optimization: Test and iterate on tactics that help drive leads to customers by leveraging digital (email, SMS, in-app notifications) and human-assisted touchpoints (e.g., scheduled sales calls).
  • Design & Eng portfolio leadership: Independently guide design and engineering teams to plan and execute enhancements that accelerate customer acquisition.
  • Feature prioritization & roadmap ownership: Manage a 3 month rolling roadmap. Collaborate with marketing peers to ensure the journey to becoming a customer aligns with our brand strategy and messaging.
  • Data analysis & product insights: Be an expert in our product analytics stack to track customer behavior, acquisition metrics, and feature performance. Ensure that features added to the funnel either materially improve key performance metrics or maintain the status quo.
  • Customer research: Actively engage customers and tap into stakeholder knowledge on customer feedback through surveys, user testing, and in-house AI models to drive continuous improvement in website experience.
  • Competitive research: Keep a pulse on competitor websites and ensure that our product offerings are ahead of competitors at all times. Use learnings to inform what we do in experimentation & new traffic / customer acquisition opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in Product role managing the web presence and conversion rate optimization efforts at a direct to consumer (D2C) business.
  • High energy, driver leadership style with the stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach, demonstrating ownership over growth metrics and a relentless focus on continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of growth strategies such as A/B testing, funnel optimization, and lifecycle marketing, with a focus on using these tactics to drive measurable impact.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis and able self-serve analytics needs with SQL, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
  • Track record of successfully leading Agile scrum teams with a proven ability to execute projects on-time.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Start up experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Clarity, Mixpanel, and Tableau.
  • Experience working with API providers and microservices.
  • macOS and G-Workspace knowledge.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
