We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager to help shape the future of our Procure-to-Pay, Finance, and Accounting application landscape at Reddit. This role falls under the Finance Applications team, which is part of the broader Corporate Technology Business Applications team.

As the Staff Product Manager for Finance Applications, you will play a crucial role in defining the vision for Reddit's Finance Applications landscape. You will serve as the primary contact for cross-functional projects that require your expertise. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating with internal teams across Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and Legal to execute roadmap initiatives and ensure their success.

In this position, you will have the chance to lead key initiatives in the Procure-to-Pay area at Reddit, utilizing tools such as Coupa, Zip, and NetSuite, while working closely with our finance organization. The best candidate will have a proven track record in Procure-to-Pay business applications and financial processes, along with a passion for solving technical challenges and building strong cross-functional partnerships.

By joining Reddit, you will help design and implement product enhancements and programs within the Finance Applications team in the Corporate Technology organization. Your focus will be on architecting and developing enterprise procurement applications that improve processes, reduce risk, and enhance our financial operations. To succeed in this role, you will work closely with a talented team of Technology and Business leaders to gather project requirements, assist with design, and perform configurations on key initiatives within the procure-to-pay systems space.


Responsibilities: 

  • Gather, document, and analyze requirements for key projects within the Procure-to-Pay  space for Coupa and Zip.
  • Design and configure scalable, secure solutions that meet business needs across Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Accounting.
  • Partner with finance systems team members and cross-functional stakeholders to execute deliverables while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Work strategically with business teams to translate needs into high-quality automation and system enhancements to support Reddit’s growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership on gathering and prioritizing the roadmap for Procure-to-Pay system enhancements and initiatives.
  • Drive complex project execution through effective task allocation, milestone tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple concurrent projects while consistently meeting critical deadlines.
  • Proactively explore and implement new capabilities within the Procure-to-Pay systems space.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal system performance and product utilization.
  • Quickly learn new technologies, develop creative solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Execute product vision and strategy for Finance Internal Customers, ensuring seamless purchasing processes and accurate expense recognition within the General Ledger and Financial Statements.
  • Lead major cross-functional initiatives and projects, including system implementations, operational improvements, and new product rollouts.
  • Own platform management, including technical debt reduction, release upgrade coordination, and issue resolution for Coupa, Ironclad, NetSuite, and other finance platforms.
  • Support key month-end and quarter-end close processes, providing hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Provide ongoing administration and user support for Zip, Coupa, NetSuite, and other business applications, including roles/permissions, workflows, custom fields, and approval flows.
  • Ensure SOX compliance by working with internal and external auditors on technical walkthroughs and system controls.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with Procurement Operations and Accounts Payable related processes
  • 6+ years experience with Coupa UI configuration and/or integrations, ideally having undergone at least one full implementation lifecycle; Coupa and Zip certifications preferred 
  • 6+ years of relevant SaaS industry or consulting experience
  • Direct experience preferred with additional financial tools such as Coupa, Zip, NetSuite, and/or competitors in respective areas 
  • Consistent track record of execution of enhancements and projects within the Finance Applications space
  • Robust understanding of technical and procure-to-pay business processes as well as the software development lifecycle
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with accounting leaders in the Procure-to-Pay space. 
  • Experience operating within an agile software delivery environment
  • Solid understanding of upstream and downstream applications and business processes that regularly interact across the Procure-to-Pay space
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Experience at a public company and/or with SOX processes preferred

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:

$180,200$252,300 USD
