About the Role

Socure is at the forefront of digital identity, and our Workforce Solutions are integral to extending our RiskOS platform's capabilities. As a Product Owner, you will be pivotal in defining the vision, strategy, and execution for our AI-driven workforce identity verification products. You will drive the development of solutions that enhance trust, security, and efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle, combating workforce fraud and ensuring seamless, secure experiences.

You’ll lead emerging workforce use cases, collaborating with product, data science, engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams. This role is ideal for a strategic product leader passionate about building innovative, data-driven solutions in the dynamic field of identity verification and fraud prevention.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and own the Workforce Solutions vision: Establish a compelling, multi-year product strategy that solidifies Socure’s leadership in workforce identity and verification, focusing on AI-driven fraud prevention and risk assessment.

  • Drive zero-to-one innovation: Lead the end-to-end development of new product lines for workforce solutions, including instant identity verification, real-time risk decisions, and payroll fraud prevention, from concept and validation to launch and scale.

  • Build cross-product alignment: Develop cohesive roadmaps that integrate Workforce capabilities across Socure’s RiskOS platform and core identity ecosystem, ensuring a seamless and secure employee lifecycle.

  • Influence and inspire: Secure executive and organizational alignment around strategic priorities, ensuring clarity and momentum across teams dedicated to workforce solutions.

  • Lead with impact: Mentor and elevate product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and strategic excellence within the workforce product team.

  • Collaborate deeply: Partner with data science and engineering leadership to create scalable frameworks and platforms that power cross-product solutions for workforce identity and risk.

  • Shape go-to-market success: Work hand-in-hand with sales, marketing, growth, and customer success to position Workforce Solutions for maximum customer adoption and value, highlighting benefits like optimized recruitment and prevention of payroll compromise. This includes developing go-to-market strategies, identifying and fostering key partnerships, and driving integrations with HRIS & ATS platforms.

  • Turn data into strategy: Translate complex insights and technology trends in identity, fraud, and workforce management into actionable, market-leading product strategies.

What You Bring
  • 7–9 years of product management or product strategy experience, with leadership in workforce identity, risk, or related technology domains.

  • Proven track record of zero-to-one product creation and market success, particularly within workforce solutions.

  • Deep strategic and market insight in emerging identity, data, and risk technologies, especially as they apply to workforce management.

  • Demonstrated ability to set and execute a long-term vision that drives measurable business and customer impact, including go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and HRIS/ATS platform integrations.

  • Strong leadership and mentorship experience, fostering high strategic and operational performance within product teams.

  • Executive-level communication and influence to align senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams on complex initiatives.

  • Technical fluency and the ability to engage deeply with engineering and data science partners.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a technical or quantitative field is preferred.

  • Significant experience in the HR or Recruitment tech industry, or with HRIS & ATS platforms, is a strong advantage.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
