At SentinelOne, we’re redefining cybersecurity by pushing the limits of what’s possible—leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.
From building industry-leading products to cultivating an exceptional company culture, our core values guide everything we do. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to drive impact. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.
We are seeking a Staff Product Designer with deep expertise in designing foundational platform experiences and driving product-led growth initiatives to help shape the future of cybersecurity software. In this role, you will lead design for core platform capabilities, including APIs, integrations, developer tools, and critical in-product growth loops. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to deliver seamless, intuitive, and scalable experiences that foster self-service, drive adoption, and enable the expansion of our platform. Your work will directly impact how organizations leverage our technology and extend its capabilities at scale.
What will you do?- Lead the design of end-to-end core platform experiences, including licensing, metering, admin/login experience, notifications, API consumption, integration frameworks, and developer portals, ensuring an intuitive and extensible ecosystem.
- Design and iterate on product-led growth funnels, including onboarding, activation, feature discovery, and self-service expansion, leveraging data and experimentation to optimize user journeys.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Platform Engineering, Growth Marketing, User Research) to understand user needs, technical constraints, business requirements, and growth metrics, delivering creative, user-centered solutions for core platform and growth initiatives.
- Produce high-quality deliverables: wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, architectural diagrams (from a UX perspective), and compelling storytelling presentation decks.
- Communicate complex design rationale, user insights, and growth hypotheses to stakeholders through compelling storytelling and data visualizations, advocating for a strong user and developer experience.
- Integrate user and developer feedback, A/B test results, and business requirements into ongoing product iterations, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact on growth.
- Mentor and guide other designers, elevating the craft and impact of the design team, particularly in platform and growth design methodologies.
- Facilitate cross-collaborative workshops to define project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for core platform features and growth experiments.
- Contribute to and extend our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to brand guidelines across all platform and growth touchpoints.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing core platform experiences (APIs, integrations, developer tools, foundational UI components) and/or product-led growth initiatives (onboarding flows, activation, feature adoption).
- 7+ years of experience in product or UX design for complex, cross-functional organizations, preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or platform environments with a strong emphasis on developer experience (DX) or growth design.
- Experience designing for data-intensive software in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or adjacent platform domains is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Figma, with experience extending component libraries and adhering to design system guidelines.
- Experience collaborating with user research teams to deeply understand user and developer goals and pain points, translating insights into actionable design solutions and testable hypotheses.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to advocate for user and developer needs, influence product strategy for the platform, and articulate growth opportunities.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of platform developers, system integrators, technical partners, and enterprise administrators.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a track record of influencing design direction in high-velocity, highly technical environments.
