Role
We are looking for a macOS/iOS Developer based in San Jose, CA (Hybrid), reporting to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering in the Endpoint Engineering department. You will be a key driver on the Mobile team, developing cross-platform client applications for MacOS and iOS that securely steer traffic to the world’s largest cloud security platform. Your vision and technical expertise will enable organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy, directly impacting a global footprint of over 65 million users.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Develop high-performance macOS and iOS applications and frameworks that serve as the gateway to our global cloud security platform
- Partner with product managers to translate complex requirements and design mockups into clean, high-quality code
- Take accountability for the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications to ensure a seamless user experience
- Uphold and evolve engineering excellence by maintaining rigorous code quality, standards, and automation practices
- Act as a technical point of escalation to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues with speed and precision

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 4+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Objective C, SWIFT, or C++
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning
- Extensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the standard libraries used for common engineering tasks
- Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Deep technical understanding of the Mac networking stack, networking protocols, and modern architectural design patterns
- Professional familiarity with PKI, network security technologies, cloud message APIs, or Apple Push Notifications

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
