Staff IT Program Manager

Why We Have This Role

As our business and technology ecosystems grow more interconnected, we need experienced leaders who can drive delivery and ensure business alignment. The Staff IT Program Manager plays a critical role at the intersection of IT and business strategy—leading complex, cross-functional programs, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions, and shaping delivery practices. We are specifically seeking a candidate with strong experience leading end-to-end quote-to-cash programs, demonstrating a deep understanding of the entire lifecycle from sales quoting, order management, contract renewals, billing, to revenue recognition. Proven success in orchestrating cross-functional teams to streamline these processes, optimize systems integration, and improve time-to-revenue is highly valued. This role also serves as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, helping them define and realize value through technology investments.

This is a senior individual contributor role that requires strategic thinking, domain expertise, and the ability to influence without authority.

How You’ll Find Success:

  • Results-Orientated Delivery - Lead with precision across multiple programs that impact enterprise systems and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking - You bring structure and foresight to ambiguous, high-visibility efforts and align them with broader business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Adept in building and maintaining relationships with executives, team members and external partners.
  • Influence and Facilitation - You guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders through roadmap planning, investment decisions, and prioritization trade-offs.

How You’ll Grow:

  • Enterprise Exposure - Gain exposure to enterprise-level program governance and cross-org planning process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Build partnerships with IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and executive sponsors.
  • Value Advocacy - Strengthen your influence by contributing to business cases and benefit realization models.

Things You’ll Do:

  • Lead the execution of multiple strategic, cross-functional IT programs within a business-aligned domain, with a particular focus on quote-to-cash initiatives. Demonstrated success managing end-to-end quote-to-cash transformations—including sales quoting, order management, contract lifecycle management, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Business Case Development -  Collaborate with business leaders and finance partners to define value, quantify impact, and support investment proposals.
  • Roadmap Alignment - Partner with IT, architecture, and business leaders to define objectives, outcomes, and delivery milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination - Drive alignment and collaboration across internal teams and external vendors, managing interdependencies and trade-offs.
  • Requirement Translation - Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly documented, prioritized, and actionable.
  • Change Management Planning - Partner with change enablement and training teams to ensure the business is ready to adopt new processes and systems
  • Investment Prioritization - Guide prioritization conversations by balancing business value, capacity and strategic fit.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience managing technology programs, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, or platform delivery.
  • Extensive experience leading quote-to-cash program management, specifically involving Salesforce platform implementations and integrations. Proven track record driving end-to-end Salesforce-based quote-to-cash initiatives, including Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), order management, billing integrations, and revenue recognition workflows.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple interrelated programs or portfolios of high strategic value within quote-to-cash domains on the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to influence roadmaps and partner closely with senior leadership across finance, revenue operations, legal, and other stakeholders as well as functional and technical leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational change management or program adoption support, particularly for Salesforce CRM and revenue operations teams.
  • Ability to take complex strategic problems and translate them into clear and manageable programs and deliverables.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to VP+ stakeholders.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with enterprise change enablement frameworks (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci)
  • PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification
  • Experience supporting business transformation programs or enterprise system rollouts
  • Post-merger integration program management

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
