The Staff Global Supply Manager – Capital Procurement at Twelve is responsible for managing high-value capital procurement contracts, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and licensor agreements. This role ensures the successful development and execution of global sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management Twelve’s Airplants. The Staff GSM will lead RFP processes, manage vendor relationships, provide a collaborative approach to the administration of contracts, and optimize procurement processes to drive cost savings and supply chain efficiency.

What You Will Do...

Capital Procurement Strategy & Execution:

  • Own the contractual formation process for design and engineering services, contractors, and material suppliers, working closely with legal and cross-functional partners.

  • Develop sourcing strategies based on spend analysis, project build plans, supplier capabilities, and global market conditions.

  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiating Master Service Agreements, General Conditions, and Work Orders to ensure favorable terms.

  • Develop and execute RFPs for engineering, modularization, construction and strategic equipment buyouts, ensuring alignment with schedule milestones.

  • Expand cost-saving opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, improved payment terms, and process efficiencies.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, including leveling, contract structuring, and supplier performance management.

  • Support the development, implementation and administration of key strategies related to Global logistics and Material Management

Vendor & Contract Management:

  • Support the management of relationships with major EPC and licensor contractors to ensure strategic alignment and contract compliance.

  • Oversee work order setup and execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of contracted services.

  • On-going administration of multiple contracts and types of contracts inclusive of IRA compliance, tax, and payment monitoring.

  • Develop key performance metrics to track supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

  • Support claims resolution, ensuring disputes are handled efficiently to minimize impact on project timelines.

Supply Chain & Logistics Support:

  • Drive the buyout of critical, high-value equipment, ensuring availability and cost optimization.

  • Provide logistics and expediting support for R1 and C1 projects, mitigating risks of supply chain disruptions.

  • Support spares buyout and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procurement to ensure operational continuity.

  • Implement and administer the material management program.

  • Manage cost, schedule, and quality validation for procured materials and services.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate risks within procurement and supply chain processes, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure all procurement activities align with corporate policies, supplier diversity initiatives, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct supplier assessments based on quality management systems, financial stability, and past performance.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and cost controls.

Who You Are...

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of capital procurement, supply chain, or contract management experience, preferably in industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong background in vendor negotiations, contract execution, and procurement strategy development.

  • Preferred: Experience in the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry, particularly in working with licensors.

Skills:

  • Strong expertise in RFP development, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.

  • Ability to make risk-based procurement decisions that optimize cost, quality, and timelines.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain teams.

  • High proficiency in supply chain analytics, cost modeling, and procurement best practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Willing to travel 10-20% of the time.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a corporate office setting with occasional site visits as needed for supplier management and contract execution.

A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level. 
United States Wage Range for Hybrid in Alameda, CA: $160,000 - $200,000

United States Wage Range for Remote: $152,000 - $190,000

Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidate's diverse sets of skill levels.
