We are seeking an experienced Sr Engineer specializing in Salesforce (SFDC) and systems integrations to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, driving the architecture and delivery of integration solutions using platforms like Salesforce, Django and Workato. You will also leverage your expertise in customizable product lines and deep understanding of integration to eCommerce and CRM systems to ensure scalable, robust, and flexible cross-functional solutions that support our business operations and evolving product offerings.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Solution Architecture- Serve as the technical authority for SFDC and integration initiatives across the organization.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable integrations between Salesforce, CRM systems, and other enterprise applications using Salesforce, Workato, and related platforms.
- Lead technical design sessions, review design and code, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.
- 100% Hands-on, open to triaging and troubleshooting Production Issues as they surface, working with global business users and dev engineers.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize integration flows to support end-to-end business processes and data synchronization.
- Enable and enhance customizable product lines through robust system integrations and process automation.
- Ensure that integrations are resilient, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
CRM & Product Line Expertise
- Leverage structural knowledge of CRM systems (such as Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud) to drive integration strategies and process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to support configurable product offerings and customer-specific requirements.
Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex technical issues across systems.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development with a strong focus on Salesforce (SFDC).
- Extensive experience with customizable or configurable product lines in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, Apex, Lightning, etc.).
- Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs, ETL processes, and integration best practices.
- Experience with middleware platforms (API Workato, Dell Boomi, or similar).
- Proficient in system architecture, data modeling, and solution design.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Additional Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive projects from concept to completion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Application Architect).
- Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, manufacturing, etc.).
