Stryker is currently hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be a vital part of our DevOps team, responsible for maintaining, designing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines as well as developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for public cloud. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day operations of various internal and external SaaS products. We emphasize automation of operational tasks and are seeking an operational engineer with a developer mindset. As a member of a small team, your ability to learn quickly and work independently is crucial. You will take ownership of your work and results. 

What You Will Do

  • You will manage network protocols, software, and infrastructure including VPNs, DNS, and network security. 

  • You will participate in incident response for customer and stakeholder issues.

  • You will demonstrate knowledge and practical experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub. You will use your proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines following best practices.

  • You will utilize your skills in managing application and infrastructure configurations, with a focus on handling sensitive information securely.

  • You will use your strong communication and analytical skills, enabling you to convey complex design concepts persuasively to diverse audiences.

  • You will be proficient in work item tracking, capturing service notes, and meticulous documentation.

  • You will bring your proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-class on-premises and cloud solutions from concept to production release.

  • You will have a solid understanding of Linux OS, Git, SSL, SSH, and certificate management.

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining pipeline in Azure DevOps or GitLab or GitHub for applications and services in the public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert level networking experience is highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with automation on Linux and Windows using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and bash.

  • Deep understanding of Docker, helm, and managed Kubernetes including deployments, config map, pods ingress controllers, load balancers.

  • Experience with relational databases.

$100,500 - $215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
