Lead the technical design and implementation of distributed systems, including service-oriented and event-driven architectures. Review code and technical designs to ensure quality, reliability, security, and performance. Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis and remediation efforts. 20% domestic travel required. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Eight (8) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation OR alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Six (6) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience with: Backend programming languages including Java and Kotlin; and Building and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures. Four (4) years of experience with: RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven systems; and Databases including relational and NoSQL, and data modeling. Three (3) years of experience with: Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and containerized environments; CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices; and Security, authentication, and authorization concepts in backend systems.
Compensation:
• The expected base compensation for this role is $264,514.00 to $310,900.00 Annually.
• Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
