Who You Are:
You are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong grasp of accounting principles eager to contribute to a growing SaaS company. You excel in fast-paced environments, working closely with accounting teams to support month-end closes, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and audits. You're proactive, a strong communicator, and committed to maintaining accurate documentation of processes and controls while seeking ways to improve efficiency and streamline tasks. You thrive in balancing multiple responsibilities and are motivated by opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Support the audit process by gathering required documentation, preparing audit schedules, and responding to auditor requests.
- Prepare, maintain, and update internal documentation related to accounting procedures, controls, and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.
- Support special projects and implementations of accounting systems led by the accounting or finance teams.
- Support the audit process by gathering required documentation, preparing audit schedules, and responding to auditor requests.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting team.

Experience/Education/Certifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or other relevant certification is required.
- Big 4 public accounting experience is required
- 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience working with US companies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate. effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.
- Self-starter who is proactive, takes initiative and follows through on tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
The salary range for this position is $66000 - $95500 annually.
