Voltage Park is on a mission to make machine learning infrastructure accessible to all, from large enterprises and research universities to seed-stage startups and nonprofits. Providing seamless access to compute with pricing and inventory transparency is the future of access to GPUs, and we are the only cloud provider offering a platform that shows all available GPUs with transparent, market-based pricing, in addition to long-term reserve contracts for our customers.

As part of this effort, we’re looking for a Staff Accountant to own day-to-day AP and support key accounting operations. You’ll help build processes from the ground up, gain exposure to multi-state and federal tax compliance, while working closely with senior leaders in a high-growth start-up environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the AP cycle: invoice processing, PO tracking, payments, and Ramp reimbursements

  • Perform reconciliations (credit card, reimbursements, and accounts)

  • Support month-end close, fixed asset tracking, and GAAP compliance

  • Assist with annual audits, tax filings, 1099s, and property tax submissions

  • Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to track budgets

What We’re Looking For

  • AP experience in a growth stage start-up environment

  • Excel/Google Sheets expertise, detail-oriented

  • Experience using NetSuite (or similar, such as Sage Intacct)

  • Audit/tax experience

  • You’re proactive and adaptable to changing priorities

  • You thrive in grey areas, and are challenged by building processes

  • A degree in finance and accounting or equivalent experience

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience using expense-reporting software, such as Ramp

Compensation Range: $70K - $95K

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
