Kincell is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow within the field. who will be a key contributor to a dynamic and collaborative Finance team.
The Staff Accountant will be a key member of Kincell’s finance team, reporting to the Accounting Sr. Manager. This position will be critical in growing the accounting function and supporting a company audit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Assist with preparing weekly payment runs and maintaining vendor files
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Apply incoming payments to customer accounts
- Monitor aging reports and assist in collections efforts
- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries
Bank & Account Reconciliations:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
General Accounting & Support:
- Assist with journal entries and posting transactions to the general ledger
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation
- Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documents
- Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 0-3 years’ experience in accounting roles
- Proficient Microsoft Dynamics user
- Advanced desktop application experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proven ability to work with professional discretion and confidential information
- Team player and self-starter with the ability to act autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Strong mathematical abilities including basic and advanced calculations
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
- CPA certification is a plus
- Ability to work within Eastern Standard hours preferred.
