The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our growing Finance organization. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who wants to develop strong operational expertise across treasury, cash applications, and banking infrastructure. This person will play a critical role in managing our day-to-day treasury operations and will also support our Revenue Accounting team by ensuring timely and accurate application of cash receipts. You’ll gain end-to-end visibility into how funds move through the company, collaborate across departments, and help improve key finance processes as Grammarly continues to scale.

Treasury Operations & Banking Infrastructure
  • Monitor daily global cash positions across multiple legal entities and currencies, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in building and maintaining short-term cash forecasts and reporting actuals vs. forecast variances.
  • Execute domestic and international payments, including wires, FX spot/forward transactions, and intercompany settlements, while maintaining SOX-compliant documentation and controls.
  • Administer banking portals across multiple institutions: manage user access, approval workflows, entitlements, and transaction limits.
  • Support account lifecycle management, including new account openings, signatory updates, documentation tracking, and system integration projects.
  • Serve as a key liaison with external banks to troubleshoot issues, improve operational efficiency, and support annual banking fee reviews and relationship management efforts.
  • Support capital markets activity and investor reporting.
Cash Application & Reconciliation
  • Own the accurate and timely application of incoming customer payments—including wires, ACH, credit cards, and checks—within NetSuite.
  • Reconcile daily bank activity across multiple bank accounts and currencies; investigate variances and ensure alignment with the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Billing, and Customer Support teams to resolve misapplied or unidentified payments and improve remittance quality.
  • Engage directly with customers as needed to gather remittance details and ensure a positive collections experience.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
  • Partner with Tax, Legal, and FP&A on initiatives including cross-border cash movements, intercompany funding, and entity-level funding strategies.
  • Participate in ad hoc treasury projects, such as process automation, treasury policy updates, ERP integrations, and banking platform enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or operations.
  • Familiarity with bank portals, online cash management tools and NetSuite.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset; willingness to roll up sleeves and learn new systems or processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Is inspired by our MOVE principles: move fast and learn faster; obsess about creating customer value; value impact over activity; and embrace healthy disagreement rooted in trust

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
