The Sr WMS Analyst supports logistics operations by optimizing the Manhattan SCALE system, troubleshooting issues, providing user support, and ensuring performance meets operational needs.
Summary/Objective:
The Sr WMS Analyst is responsible for the onsite and remote support of the logistics team in various locations to optimize operations. As the WMS (Warehouse Management System) Analyst, you will need to be a versatile and motivated individual who works with other IT team members and Operations as needed, design, develop, and keep maintenance of Manhattan SCALE. You play an integral part in monitoring the performance of the WMS system, proactively look at areas for improvement, and will lead in the completion of any issues. The WMS Analyst is responsible for the overall WMS support of the operations to ensure that the WMS and subsystems deliver in performance and functionality necessary for the all of operational needs. You will interact with, and advise, the Operations teams and other internal customers to ensure SCALE is meeting their business standards. The WMS Analyst will verify that all business requirements are identified and achieved through proper functional design, configuration, troubleshooting and testing.

- Partner with various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/processes and then create detailed, and comprehensive documentation.
- Verification of the business manager/stakeholder’s requests functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data model.
- Function as the first line of support for the issue resolution across a multi-state environment.
- Trouble-shoot day-to-day issues, identify root causes, and any escalations as needed.
- Maintain SOP and all training materials for WMS system.
- Supports interface management between WMS and internal systems.
- Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment across multiple business lines.
- Works with business functional areas to research and identify the best solution to support the most efficient business processes while minimizing customizations.
- Understanding SCALE and being able to troubleshoot any unexpected issue the Operations team may encounter.
- Handles escalations WMS Analysts cannot resolve
- Owns advanced configuration (wave rules, allocation, slotting, automation-related settings)
- Diagnoses root causes for systemic or recurring issues
- Supports new client onboarding with configuration and testing
- Designs process flows to improve operational efficiency
- Leads UAT (User Acceptance Testing) during enhancements
- Builds or maintains advanced custom reports
- Provides training and mentoring to WMS Analysts
- Works directly with operations leadership for improvement initiatives

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred or 3-5 years of direct, related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Manhattan SCALE (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with configuring/modifying accounts within SCALE (mandatory).
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a warehousing environment (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years with trouble-shooting issues as they arise and fixing the issue at hand in a timely manner.
- Very strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects in fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrate effective problem solving and critical thinking skills with a sense of urgency.
- Able to utilize reporting tools effectively and efficiently
- Proficient with databases and SQL
- Development experience a plus.
