Job Description:
As a Senior Technical Sales Director, you’ll be the technical backbone of our sales process—partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients’ unique needs. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that spans pre-sales, post-sales, and strategic product input, offering a rare opportunity to influence both revenue and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle—from initial discovery and demos to proof-of-concept and implementation.
- Translate customer needs into actionable solutions using Cotality’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Champion the voice of the customer by identifying common themes and surfacing insights that inform future product development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with clients through deep technical expertise and consultative guidance.

Job Qualifications:
- 12+ years of sales, technical sales or sales engineering experience preferably with 5+ years of Property Insurance Claims experience
- Able to deliver a compelling technical sales presentation
- Experienced with the execution of proof-of-concept exercises or similar activities, including pilot projects
- Familiar with consultative sales methodologies
- Strong communicator with a proven ability to build internal and external relationships
- Ability to lead discovery calls (in person & remote) with existing and prospecting clients.
- Communicate clients’ complex issues and potential solutions to internal stakeholders including product & senior leadership.
- Able to travel once or twice per month
*Please note the range listed is the annual base salary range depending on experience and location of candidate. There is also a commission component to add to the overall compensation package.
