SUMMARY

The Sr. Technical Enablement Program Manager, Product is the essential link between our Product organization and our Field teams. This role owns the strategy and creation of all new product and foundational content. You are the owner and conductor of the New Product Introduction (NPI) enablement lifecycle and the steward of our core product knowledge. You will work upstream with Product and Product Marketing and then hand off finalized, role-agnostic training packages to the Field Technical Enablement PMs (Pre-Sales/Post-Sales) for final deployment and execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO New Product Introduction (NPI) Ownership
  • Own the Launch: Be the dedicated Enablement Program Manager driving the readiness for all New Product Introductions (NPI) and major feature releases. You are the critical link between Product Development and the field's success.
  • Translate the Tech: Be the voice of the field on the weekly Release Notes call. You'll rapidly absorb deep technical details and translate them into actionable, high-impact enablement requirements—answering the essential questions for our sellers: "Why does this matter?" and "How do we sell/support it?"
  • Build the Toolkit: Convert product updates into the necessary toolkit that the field uses every day. This includes everything from competitive positioning and internal knowledge guides to final customer-facing decks and demo scripts.
  • Drive Alignment: Lock down launch success by partnering directly with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Field Enablement to establish timelines, define critical field needs, and agree on clear success metrics before any content creation begins.
Content Strategy & Refresh
  • Content Lifecycle Manager: Take full ownership of our foundational product materials. You will consistently review, refresh, and retire outdated content (e.g., core product training) to ensure our knowledge base is always current and competitive.
  • Creator Liaison: Serve as the strategic hub between the Field Enablement team (who defines role-based needs) and the Content Creation/LXD team. You will translate high-level needs into precise content requirements and scoping documents for production.
  • Revitalize the Library: Proactively initiate and manage projects to revamp underperforming or stale assets, ensuring the field always has access to modern, high-impact content that reflects the latest product and market reality.
Field Readiness & Deployment
  • Role-Based Impact: Align closely with the Field Enablement team to ensure all NPI and refreshed assets are strategically packaged and delivered in a role-specific, easy-to-digest format that drives maximum adoption and usage in the field.
  • Measure Success: Go beyond delivery by actively measuring the effectiveness of enablement programs. Use feedback and data to drive constant improvement, optimizing for speed, quality, and quantifiable improvements in field readiness scores.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 5+ years proven experience in Product Enablement, Technical Training, or Program/Project Management within a fast-paced, high-tech B2B environment.
  • Deep Technical Acumen: Mandatory and demonstrable advanced knowledge of Cloud Security principles, architecture, and industry concepts
  • Demonstrated experience owning and driving New Product Introduction (NPI) enablement from concept to field readiness.
  • Exceptional program management skills with a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects across various timelines.
  • Strong understanding of how to translate technical product information (specs, features) into field-consumable materials (BOM, battlecards, enablement guides).
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Content Teams, and Field Leadership.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
