SUMMARY:

We’re currently seeking a Staff Tax Accountant for our Pleasant Hill CA office. 

This is a full-time, Exempt role based out of Pleasant Hill. The pay range is $85,000-$95,000


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • During tax season, work closely with firm's Sr. Partners and Managers to review large volume of Individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns. Preparation of tax returns of various complexities
  • Assist with IRS/State tax notices, and audits.
  • Work on year-end tax projections.
  • Work together with Tax Managers, Partners and other staff accountants
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree (Accounting Preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Ability to work well with others
  • Lacerte Software experience preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in CPA/Tax/Accounting office.
  • CPA, EA or in process of obtaining (Preferred)
