About the Role

Uber Freight is looking to hire an experienced sales professional with a deep knowledge of complex solution selling to Mid-Market shippers in the transportation services and software industry. The Senior Sales Account Executive is a key contributor within the sales organization and will have direct access to all our solutions to serve our customer's freight logistics and technology needs. In this senior sales position, you will be responsible for identifying, soliciting, creating, developing, building, closing and owning a robust sales opportunity pipeline to support the business and financial goals of Uber Freight's commercial sales team.

What You’ll Do

  • Become an authority on Uber Freight logistics services and technology offerings
  • Drive top-line logo acquisition
  • Solution sell to Mid-Market ($400M-$800M Gross Sales) companies
  • Analyze sales activities and forecast data to determine progress toward goals and objectives
  • Partner and co-sell with TM reps within the territory when the customer objectives call for a managed transportation solution.
  • Provide monthly reports on prospect activity, lead generation and customer account meeting status, following our prescribed commercial sales methodologies and processes through Salesforce and associated solutions (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6Sense, Groove, etc)
  • Develop new business opportunities by solving customer's challenges through a highly collaborative solution selling approach
  • Develop and build relationships at decision-maker levels (typical from Directors, VP, and C-Level)

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years professional experience
  • Experience selling supply chain technology, logistics or transportation services
  • Supply chain/logistics industry solutions experience
  • 1+ years of experience in prospecting and engaging with potential customers

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Able to travel ~25% to meet with prospects and internal collaborators
  • Experience and demonstrated track record of solution-selling
  • Experience identifying, generating, and closing new business
  • A hunter mentality; thrives on winning in a highly competitive environment
  • Experience selling business process outsourcing (BPO) freight management services to shipper customers
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Experience maximizing CRM to track and report on prospecting leads, sales opportunities, and customer management activities.
  • Business acuity and personal presence required to quickly build credible relationships with prospects' senior and executive leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal team members and varied external audiences.
  • A flexible, dynamic, self‐demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others.
  • A team player who works to ensure that others success along with them


Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees

Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.  US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.

For New York based roles: The salary range for this role is $105,985.00 to $140,855.00 a year 

For California based roles: The salary range for this role is $105,985.00 to $140,855.00 a year 

For Colorado based roles: The salary range for this role is $96,350.00 to $128,050 a year

For Washington based roles: The salary range for this role is $105,985.00 to $140,855.00 a year

For Illinois based roles: The salary range for this role is $96,350.00 to $128,050 a year

For Minnesota based roles: The salary range for this role is $86,715.00 to $115,245 a year
