Sr Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Must have a strong background in software development, a passion for coding, and the ability to work on complex projects independently.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that align with project requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs and system requirements.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure optimal performance.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

  • Research and evaluate new technologies to drive innovation and improve existing systems.

  • Document software designs and technical specifications for reference and reporting.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or others.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience with database management systems and web technologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • None Required

Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues and understanding of the financial/mortgage industry. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
