We’re Hiring: Sr Software Engineer, Full-Stack/Mobile

We're looking for a Sr Software Development Engineer with a strong focus on mobile development to join our growing product and engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you'll design, build, and scale mobile-first experiences for our AI-powered recruitment platform. Your primary focus will be React Native mobile development (iOS & Android), with additional work on our Node.js backend when API development or fixes are needed.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments, loves crafting elegant mobile experiences, and wants to see their work make an impact on the future of higher education.

What You'll Own

🔹 Mobile-First Development

  • Design and build mobile-first features using React Native and Expo for both iOS and Android platforms.

  • Own end-to-end feature development for mobile applications, from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.

  • Optimize mobile app performance, ensuring smooth animations, fast load times, and efficient data handling.

  • Build responsive, intuitive mobile interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences for students and university staff.

🔹 Full-Stack Development & API Integration

  • Develop and maintain Node.js backend APIs to support mobile features, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

  • Implement real-time features and data synchronization to power AI-driven recruitment and student engagement.

  • Work with TypeScript, React Native, Expo, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB across the stack.

🔹 Collaboration & Product Impact

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ship high-impact features.Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing and documentation.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
