About the Role:
Limit Break is looking for Frontend (Webapp)Engineers to join our team. You will be joining a small and very senior team, spearheading the frontend development for our Web3 applications. You’ll be in a position to influence our best practices, team and processes, and to create a truly customer-driven culture from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity for an intellectually curious and hardworking individual to help the organization shape engineering in blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities:
● Partner with the design and product teams to translate their vision into effective web
experiences from prototype to maintainable, scalable, and high fidelity production web
applications
● Architect, implement, and maintain web applications, including both internal and external
player facing web applications
● Establish and champion processes, pipelines, and best practices for web development,
including build automation and operational tooling
● Identify opportunities to incorporate new technologies and techniques to maximize
workflow efficiencies and to provide effective and maintainable solutions for the web
applications that are being developed
● When required, provide technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers on front-
end web development
Qualifications:
● B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
● 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
● Proficiency in Japanese is a plus. Native-level English proficiency preferred
● Experienced in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript with advanced knowledge of JavaScript
● Extensive experience using frameworks and patterns in large JavaScript applications (like
React / Redux, Vue, Angular or similar)
● Experience working with Web3 libraries (e.g., Ethers, Wagmi, Viem)
● Knowledgeable about blockchain concepts, including smart contract interactions, wallet integrations, and decentralized applications
● Familiarity with Design Systems and Frameworks such as Tailwind, MaterialUI, ChakraUI.
● Experience writing tests (unit-, integration- and end-to-end)
● A strong grasp of fundamental web and browser principles
● Cross-browser development and debugging skills
● Strong sense of initiative and ownership
● A "roll up your sleeves" mindset to get any job done

● Proven experience building responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and
Tailwind
● Familiarity with designing and developing web internal tools to optimize workflows, with a
focus on gaming-related tools
● A keen eye for detail to craft exception and engaging user experiences
