Now, we’re focused on unlocking the massive potential of Enterprise customers—organizations with dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of employees. Zapier is actively hiring multiple engineers across our Enterprise zone, including Senior Full Stack Engineers (who are backend leaning) and Senior Backend Engineers to join several high-impact teams.

We’re currently hiring for four key teams:

• Enterprise Experience

• Enterprise Response

• Enterprise Observability Platform

• Identity Platform

The Enterprise Experience team is writing the playbook, not just iterating on one. Some foundational projects we’re tackling include:

• Building the first dedicated user flows for enterprise admins and builders

• Creating core features like:

  • Hierarchical account management

  • Cross-org visibility into usage and assets

  • User provisioning and permissions transfer

  • Alerts, dashboards, audit logs, and more

The Enterprise Response team keeps our systems resilient and reliable for millions of users—especially when it matters most.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead responses to critical incidents and customer-impacting events

• Work directly with enterprise customers

• Collaborate across engineering, product, and support to solve urgent problems

• Build internal tools and improve core product features based on real-world feedback

This team touches every part of the stack and plays a critical role in ensuring our biggest customers get fast, dependable service. If you thrive on solving complex problems, working hands-on with users, and making a company-wide impact, we’d love to have you join us.

The Enterprise Observability Platform team builds Zapier’s core systems for Notifications, Audit Logs, and Alerts. These systems give our largest customers the visibility and control they need to confidently scale automation with Zapier. The Identity Platform team is a mission-critical team at Zapier, building the core Identity Platform that powers secure user authentication, user provisioning, and role management across our entire product suite. As the backbone of access and permissions for millions of users, we design intuitive, API-first solutions that enable enterprise customers to seamlessly onboard and offboard users, configure granular access permissions, and manage roles for fine-grained control over account ownership and security. Our work is essential to delivering a seamless, secure experience for both admins, members, and end users—and to Zapier’s ongoing success and growth.

These roles are instrumental in unlocking the full potential of Enterprise admins and builders across Zapier’s product and will directly drive higher sales of our premium plans in the near future. If you’re someone who thrives on ambitious goals and meaningful work, this is the team for you:

• Work on high-impact features that directly influence premium plan sales and help close strategic enterprise deals.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Revenue, Support, and GTM teams.

• Play a key role in Zapier’s growth trajectory—you’re not a cog in a machine, you’re part of the engine.

We’re looking for experienced and motivated engineers who bring:

• 6+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years at a senior level.

• At least 4 years dedicated to building and refining web-based software products.

• Strong backend skills, with experience ideally in Python, Django, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.

• For our Full Stack roles - we are looking for Full Stack comfort—you’re primarily a backend expert but can contribute to frontend work (React).

• Experience with event-driven systems and platform thinking. You’ve built scalable tools that help other teams move faster and simpler. You’re familiar with systems like Kafka, SQS, and Fastify, and you’ve worked with observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, and Graylog

• You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.
