Role Overview:

• Architect, develop, and maintain APIs integrating third-party SaaS platforms (M365, Miro, Airtable, Palantir, Teamcenter, etc.)
• Data and analytics pipelines (Amazon Redshift, S3, DynamoDB)
• Internal chat/session (chatId) workflows and services
• Build and maintain a wrapper gateway service to unify and standardize backend access.
• Implement support for streaming responses and full response payloads.
• Optimize API performance, throughput, and latency across multiple data sources.
• Apply security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, privacy).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve API reliability, resilience, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams on architecture, deployment, and scaling strategies.

Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience of 2-3 yrs in building API and integration layers (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with APIs or SDKs for Palantir, Miro, Amazon Redshift or similar SaaS/data/PLM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of streaming protocols (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, gRPC streaming).
• Understanding of authentication and security standards (OAuth2, JWT, AWS IAM).
• Coding proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
• Background in microservices architecture and wrapper/gateway service design.
• Experience delivering token-by-token streaming for LLM or chat systems.
• Knowledge of scalability strategies for high-throughput, multi-tenant APIs.
• Familiarity with zero-trust or defense-in-depth security frameworks.

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure); certification preferred but not required.

• Customer-centric mindset, with ability to facilitate design thinking workshops.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
• Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices

• Continuously measures deliverables of self and team against scheduled commitments. Effectively balances different, competing objectives
