We are seeking a Senior SAP SD Functional Analyst to lead the support, optimization, and strategic evolution of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes across our enterprise SAP ECC environment, including AFS-driven apparel and footwear business processes. This role partners with business leaders across Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance to drive scalable solutions, improve operational performance, and ensure system integrity and compliance.
The ideal candidate brings deep SAP SD expertise, strong cross-module integration knowledge (MM, FI/CO, AFS), and the ability to translate complex business needs into sustainable solutions. This role is expected to operate with minimal direction, provide functional leadership, and mentor analysts while influencing the O2C roadmap.
This position is based in Irvine, CA, with an onsite requirement of four days per week with one designated wfh workday.

You will have the opportunity to:
- Serve as the functional lead for SAP SD and O2C capabilities across brands, drive standardization and scalable design patterns.
- Configure and support SAP SD processes including order management, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, and related master data governance.
- Lead discovery and design sessions with stakeholders; document current/future state, gaps, risks, and measurable outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs, functional specs, and implementation plans; ensure alignment to architecture and integration standards.
- Own and improved integrations between SAP and external systems (e.g., 3PL, EDI partners, eCommerce platforms, tax engines), partnering with technical teams and vendors.
- Lead testing strategy and execution including unit, integration, regression, and UAT, ensuring traceability to requirements and audit readiness.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and production support; drive problem management (recurring issues), corrective actions, and stability improvements.
- Provide functional leadership on pricing strategy execution (condition techniques, rebates, promotions, discounts) and ensure controls to prevent pricing leakage.
- Ensure adherence to change control, transport management, SOX/audit compliance, and documentation standards; proactively identify control gaps.
- Identify and execute opportunities for automation, process simplification, and operational KPI improvements across O2C.
Functional Expertise
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Sales order processing, delivery scheduling, shipping, billing, returns, and exception handling.
- Pricing procedures, condition records, rebates, promotions, and margin-impact analysis.
- Credit management and risk controls, including collaboration with Finance/AR.
Integration
- End-to-end integration with MM (inventory/procurement), FI (AR/revenue), and AFS (grid management, allocation, seasonality).
- Experience supporting EDI (850, 855, 856, 810) and 3PL/eCommerce integrations; able to diagnose and resolve cross-system issues.
Configuration
- Sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, copy controls, output determination, and account determination.
- AFS grid management, size/color matrices, allocation runs, season-based processes, and AFS master data/SKU variant management.
Testing & Documentation
- Creation and governance of functional specs, test plans/scripts, training materials, and deployment/readiness checklists.
- Support audits and maintain SOX-compliant documentation, including configuration rationale and control evidence
Leadership & Coaching
- Mentor and coach analysts and business super-users; establish reusable templates, playbooks, and SD/O2C standards.
- Lead small project workstreams or releases; manage dependencies, risks, and scope with delivery partners.
- Contribute to the O2C roadmap: identify high-value enhancements, estimate effort, define sequencing, and align with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership for process design tradeoffs, controls, and system capabilities.

Additional Information
- Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP modernization is a plus.
- Familiarity with tax engines (Vertex/Avalara) and eCommerce integrations preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional configuration and support experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end O2C process design and optimization (pricing, order management, delivery, billing, returns, credit).
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, FI/CO, and AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution); demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional design decisions.
- Experience leading requirements workshops and producing high-quality functional specifications and solution designs for technical development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead production support, root cause analysis, and preventive controls to improve stability and reduce incident volume.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills; ability to translate between business and technical teams at multiple levels.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products industries preferred.
- Preferred/Plus: experience leading or supporting S/4HANA migration (brownfield/greenfield), AFS enhancements, or large-scale process standardization.

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $101,000.00 - $118,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
