At Quantcast, we're redefining what's possible in digital advertising. As a global Demand Side Platform (DSP) powered by AI, we help marketers connect with the right audiences and deliver measurable results across the Open Web. Our foundation is built on cutting-edge measurement and consumer analytics, giving our clients the tools they need to drive success in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Since our start in 2006, we've pioneered industry firsts—from launching the original measurement platform for digital publishers to introducing the first AI-driven DSP. If you're ready to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that thrives on creating transformative solutions, Quantcast is the perfect place to grow your career.

Quantcast is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our IT Enterprise Applications team, to work remotely from Vancouver, WA, or Portland, OR. As a key member of the global Corporate Technology organization, you will lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions that drive productivity across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Engineering.

This role is ideal for a technical leader with deep Salesforce platform expertise—particularly in Salesforce CPQ—who thrives in solving complex business challenges with scalable, performant, and future-forward systems. Our internal applications are rapidly evolving, and you will have a major influence in shaping the next generation of our architecture and business process automation.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role with broad scope, direct collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, and partnership with both internal teams and external technology vendors. You'll be empowered to lead initiatives, influence architectural direction, and mentor other developers, all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings a track record of Salesforce innovation, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering elegant technical solutions that have a measurable impact on business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of customized solutions on the Salesforce.com platform to support critical business functions.
  • Architect and implement scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet complex pricing, product configuration, and quoting needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical advisor across Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ technologies.
  • Design and build advanced customizations, flows, and logic to support quoting workflows, discount approvals, renewals, subscriptions, and billing integration.
  • Mentor junior developers and support cross-functional teams by promoting best practices in Salesforce development and deployment.
  • Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce (including CPQ) and external systems using web services and APIs.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards to maintain code quality and performance.
  • Oversee and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation strategies.
  • Provide strategic input and technical leadership in platform optimization, security, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases, especially those affecting CPQ, and assess the impact of new features on current implementations.
  • Document detailed technical specifications and deliver clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform in enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years of direct experience with Salesforce CPQ development, including custom product rules, pricing rules, quote templates, guided selling, and advanced approval processes.
  • Strong proficiency in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
  • Deep understanding of SOQL, SOSL, and relational database tools (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, AWS RDS).
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce DevOps practices, including use of Git, Jenkins, Jira, Copado or Gearset for CI/CD.
  • Experience with Omnistudio and Experience Cloud is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Advanced experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies, including:

  • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Triggers, Batch Jobs, and Custom Metadata Types
  • Experience building and maintaining managed packages (a plus)

Certifications (required):

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (required)
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist (strongly preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer or Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer (preferred)

The salary range for this position is $128,700 - $149,600

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
