About the Team

Zoom is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to work as an embedded resource to the Enterprise market teams and that segment's sales management team. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst plays an important role to sales management teams by partnering with sales leadership, and key cross functional stakeholders across the business to better execute on structure, evaluate business problems, design and then implement relevant recommendations, while tracking success metrics. Also, the SSOA will be called on to assess our sales effectiveness, sales productivity, KPI framework and revenue programs to exceed our goals. You will have a depth of experience in high growth SaaS markets. This is a strategic thinking role, balanced with being comfortable with hands on finessing of data by working through specific data driver deliverables, while at the same time analyzing and providing insights on opportunity/risk levels. In short, we are looking for a highly experienced generalist in sales strategy and operations.

About the Role

  • Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement relevant recommendations, and track success metrics

  • Partner extensively with the Go to Market Insights team to understand the quantified view of the market opportunity. This understanding will help you to make recommendations on optimizing sales resource planning and quota planning accordingly

  • Define, manage, and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) across a range of selling segments: direct, indirect, Majors, Enterprise, etc.

  • Become a subject matter expert on Sales Segmentation definitions, Sales Booking Policy and Global Rules of Engagement. This may include weighing in to help resolve any disputes over policy that may arise

  • Understand the impact of Privacy and Security issues as the impact Zoom across the business

  • Co-lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g., Executive presentations, QBRs, etc.)

  • Use the Zoom sales technology stack to regularly report to sales leadership and the executive team all activities, performance, data and reporting

  • Work collaboratively to deploy technology to increase the amount of time that reps spend selling and to automate essential processes

  • Quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience and prioritize issues as appropriate

  • Lead cross functional initiatives to transform and refine processes to promote improved sales productivity and velocity

  • Working in partnership with Sale Enablement and GTM Insights. Deliver a unified and connected planning and best practice environment around quota management, territory management, pipeline management, forecasting, quarterly business reviews and GTM Planning, in collaboration Financial Planning & Analysis, Data Management, Enterprise Systems teams, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Human Resources and Sales Support, all of which support a world-class sales organization

  • Conduct scoping of projects with stakeholders to understand business requirements, level of effort, owners, and timelines

  • Partner with Sales Enablement on implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teams towards reducing ramp times of new reps

  • Drive operational efficiencies by automating and improving processes, tools, and dashboards that scale as the business expands globally

About You

  • 8+ years of work experience in Global Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, or Business Operations

  • Experience working within the Majors market teams

  • The ability to articulate specific Majors market understandings and insights

  • 5 years' work experience + Zoom experience in Sales Operations & Enablement, could act as a substitute for 8+ years work experience

  • 5 years' experience with SaaS, B2B, multi-product and technical sales business models, with a preference to high growth companies.

  • Must be highly proficient in Salesforce.com, Google docs, Excel, and technically savvy for other key sales applications; will consider another CRM proficiency

  • Direct or indirect management experience with global sales leaders in worldwide regions

  • Comfort with C-level presentations, meetings, strategy discussions, yet has the ability to connect with field sales reps

  • Outcomes-oriented approach to sales and sales operations with corresponding experience managing key metrics for success

  • Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skill

Educational 

  • BS Degree in business, economics, communications or other disciplines is preferred but not required

  • MBA degree preferred but not required, will also consider an MA with a specific discipline

  • Certificates in global strategy or business analytics from credentialed universities also preferred

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$126,500.00

Maximum:

$276,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
