The Value Services Operations (VSO) team is dedicated to ensuring the Value Services team has the data, processes, and insights required to deliver world-class services and maximize the value our customers achieve with Coupa.
As a Sales Analyst within VSO, you will be the analytical cornerstone for Value Services sales leadership, transforming raw data into clear, strategic insights. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Value Services Operations, you will be responsible for analyzing our services sales pipeline, forecasting, team performance, and other key customer success business metrics. Our leadership is action-oriented and data-driven; your work will directly influence strategic decisions that shape the future of our services business. What You'll Do:
- Sales and Customer Success Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on key Professional Services and Customer Success metrics including bookings, billings, backlog, pipeline health, utilization, and margins.
- Reporting & Dashboarding: Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Google Sheets to provide clear, actionable insights for Value Services leadership and the wider Chief Customer Officer organization.
- Forecasting & Planning: Support the services forecasting process, working closely with regional VS leaders to ensure accuracy and predictability. Assist in the annual and quarterly planning cycles, including capacity planning and quota setting.
- Salesforce Management: Act as a subject matter expert for Value Services data in Salesforce. Ensure data integrity for all service-related opportunities, manage pipeline stages, and support the team with SFDC best practices.
- Strategic Insights: Go beyond simple reporting to identify trends, patterns, and areas for operational improvement. Proactively present findings and data-backed recommendations to stakeholders in a precise and compelling manner.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales Ops, Finance, and IT) to refine and streamline the end-to-end operational processes that support the PS team.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales analysis, revenue operations, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Expert proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., complex pivot tables, array formulas, data modeling, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP).
- Strong, hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC), specifically in creating complex reports, dashboards, and managing opportunity/pipeline data.
- Proven experience in sales analysis, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
