About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Sales Manager to build and lead a new team of 8 Account Executives in our Mid-Market organization. You'll join a group of managers already running this motion successfully, but the team you lead is yours to stand up and shape.

This is a frontline leadership role. Your job is to translate our go-to-market strategy into consistent team execution: you'll coach reps, inspect deals, drive forecast accuracy, and create the structure that allows strong performance to repeat quarter after quarter.

What you'll own:

Lead and develop a high-performing team

  • Coach Account Executives to consistently meet or exceed quota and grow into their next role
  • Run focused 1:1s built around deal quality, skill development, and real accountability
  • Ramp new reps quickly and address performance gaps early, before they compound
  • Build a team culture rooted in ownership, collaboration, and high standards

Drive pipeline health and forecast accuracy

  • Lead weekly pipeline and forecast reviews focused on deal progression, qualification rigor, and clear next steps
  • Sharpen predictability through disciplined inspection and clean CRM hygiene across the team
  • Maintain healthy pipeline coverage and get ahead of creation gaps before they become quarter-enders
  • Reinforce structured, rep-owned outbound tied to measurable standards and pipeline outcomes
  • Use metrics and experimentation to make outbound sharper over time
  • Use metric review and experimentation to improve outbound effectiveness over time

Support high-quality deal execution

  • Coach reps to run well-qualified mid-market opportunities from discovery through close
  • Elevate deal strategy with stronger positioning, cleaner value articulation, confident executive-level communication
  • Help reps navigate pricing, stakeholder alignment, and procurement without losing momentum
  • Spot patterns in stalled deals and raise the whole team's execution maturity

Partner cross-functionally

  • Work with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Solutions Architects to unblock deals and improve how the team executes
  • Bring frontline feedback on messaging, territory design, and enablement back to the people who own it
  • Pilot and operationalize new GTM initiatives inside your team

What we're looking for:

  • 7–10 years in sales, including 3–5+ years managing quota-carrying reps - ideally in Marketing Technology or SaaS
  • A track record of leading successful mid-market or high-velocity sales teams
  • Genuinely strong at pipeline inspection and forecasting - you can smell a soft deal from a mile away
  • Experienced coaching outbound pipeline generation in evolving sales motions
  • Comfortable operating inside a structured qualification framework like MEDDICC
  • A clear, direct communicator who holds a high bar without needing to raise their voice
  • Effective cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-moving, growth-stage environment
Compensation & Benefits

We believe in transparency. Compensation for this role is $140,000 base + $140,000 variable = $280,000 OTE (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Our Process

No gotchas, no trick questions - just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.

  • 30-minute conversation with a Recruiter
  • 45-minute conversation with the Hiring Manager
  • 1:1 conversations with cross-functional partners
  • One week to complete a take-home assignment, followed by a 60-minute review call

All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
