ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 190 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.

The Opportunity

As Senior Sales Manager, Metals & Minerals, you will help build ANYbotics’ business across the United States, with a focus on metals, mining, cement, pulp and paper.

This is a hands-on market-building role. You will develop strategic customer relationships, create new enterprise opportunities and guide customers from initial interest through deployment and broader adoption across multiple sites.

You will work with stakeholders from plant operations, reliability and engineering through to procurement and executive leadership. Success will depend on your ability to understand industrial customer needs, build a strong operational and financial case for autonomous inspection and manage complex sales cycles through to close.

The role reports directly to our Global VP of Sales and works closely with Solution Architects, Business Value Consultants, Customer Success and Product.

Market & Technology

ANYbotics is pioneering autonomous robotic platforms for inspection and operations in challenging industrial environments.

Our ANYmal robots move autonomously through facilities, collect inspection data and help customers monitor equipment without exposing people to hazardous, repetitive or difficult work. The platform combines robotics, autonomy, inspection payloads, software, analytics and integrations into an end-to-end industrial solution.

Across metals, mining, cement, pulp and paper, customers face persistent challenges around safety, asset reliability, labour availability and unplanned downtime. The commercial opportunity is to help operators identify valuable applications, prove impact at site level and expand successful deployments across their wider organisation.

About Us

ANYbotics is a leading robotics company specialising in advanced autonomous systems. With a successful Series B financing round closed and strong momentum in the market, we are entering an important phase of international growth.

Our mission is to transform industrial inspection and operations through world-class robotics. We combine deep technical expertise with real customer deployments across energy, chemicals, utilities, mining, metals and other industrial sectors.

This is an opportunity to join at a stage where the technology is proven, customer interest is strong and the US market offers significant room to grow.

Your Contributions

    • Build and execute the US commercial strategy across metals, mining, cement, pulp and paper

    • Develop strategic enterprise opportunities through direct prospecting, industry relationships, partners and customer networks

    • Own complex sales cycles from discovery and business-case development through technical evaluation, negotiation and close

    • Build trusted relationships across plant, engineering, reliability, procurement and executive stakeholders

    • Translate autonomous inspection into clear outcomes around safety, reliability, productivity and operational risk

    • Turn successful initial deployments into broader multi-site and enterprise agreements

    • Coordinate closely with internal technical and commercial teams, while maintaining strong account planning, forecasting and pipeline discipline

    • Represent ANYbotics in the market and bring customer, competitor and industry insight back into the organisation

Your Profile

    • Proven enterprise sales or business-development success in metals, mining, cement, pulp and paper, or a closely related industrial market

    • Current or recent experience selling a complex software, hardware or integrated technology solution, ideally involving automation, robotics, asset reliability, industrial AI or digitalisation

    • Strong track record creating new opportunities, navigating complex customer organisations and closing significant multi-stakeholder deals

    • Commercial judgement to connect technical capability with clear outcomes around safety, reliability, productivity and financial value

    • Credibility with both technical users and senior decision-makers, including experience expanding initial projects into larger strategic accounts

    • Independent, disciplined working style, with the ability to own a US market while collaborating closely with international technical and commercial teams

    • Willingness to travel regularly across the United States

Bonus Points

    • Existing relationships across relevant US industrial operators

    • Experience selling robotics, autonomous systems, industrial inspection, condition monitoring or predictive-maintenance solutions

    • Technical or engineering background, or experience selling integrated hardware, software and recurring services

    • We offer a highly dynamic working environment, the opportunity to join a fast-growing company and an ambitious team working to change industrial inspection, the freedom to shape our US growth, a competitive compensation package, an attractive employee stock ownership plan, and the chance to work with one of the world’s most advanced mobile robotic platforms.

We offer you a very exciting and dynamic work environment, the opportunity to become part of a fast-growing company and an ambitious team that is on a mission to change the industrial inspection market, a chance to leverage your experience and bring in your own ideas to grow our presence and build trust with our customers in North America

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
