Sr. Revenue Accountant

• Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities, including booking journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.

• Perform account reconciliations and flux analysis, identifying and explaining variances.

• Manage accounts receivable reserves, including the allowance for doubtful accounts and sales return reserves.

• Review significant credit memo and refund activity to ensure correct accounting treatment and compliance with company policies.

• Review professional and managed services invoicing to ensure correct revenue recognition.

• Continuously evaluate and improve revenue accounting close processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Billing Support, Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Data Science, and IT teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

• 5+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or a corporate revenue accounting role (SaaS experience preferred).

• Understanding of the Order-to-Cash cycle (e.g. quoting, subscription management, invoicing and revenue recognition) and related risks and controls.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with a focus on ASC 606.

• Experience with enterprise applications such as SalesForce, Zuora, and Oracle.

• Experience working with large data sets using advanced Excel and/or SQL skills to identify trends, highlight issues and explain reasons for account fluxes.

• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls testing.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$76,800.00

Maximum:

$186,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
