The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure the highest standards for our SaaS platform. You'll partner with developers and product managers to define test plans, write and maintain automated tests, and continuously improve our testing processes. This is a remote role, ideal for someone with a meticulous eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a collaborative spirit in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement test plans and strategies for new features and product enhancements.
  • Design, write, and execute automated tests to cover a wide range of functionality, including UI, API, and database testing.
  • Insightfully contribute to periodic agile ceremonies (e.g., Stand-ups, refinement, retrospectives)
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to identify, reproduce, and document software defects.
  • Maintain and improve our existing test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Advocate for quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (Shift-left testing)
  • Participate in code review to ensure test automation standards are met.

Must have skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably with a focus on automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Capybara).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (We use Ruby on Rails and JavaScript).
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and data manipulation.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience testing B2B SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing.
  • Experience with a modern CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitLab).
  • Experience working with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience working in a remote-first company.
