As a Sr. Purchasing Specialist,Hardware at Carbon Robotics you will support Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sourcing in delivering robust and scalable processes.
What you’ll do:
- Forecast production levels to plan for materials needed.
- Track supplier delivery performance and response time
- RFQs/RFPs as directed (production, field spares engineering testing and prototyping)
- Write PO’s and obtain approval through prescribed process (production, field spares, engineering testing, and prototyping)
- Track and update order delivery dates weekly to ensure on time delivery. Escalate all anticipated late deliveries to manager
- Assist with material receiving for other departments as necessary and collaborate with Carbon Inventory Managers as applicable.
- Pack, and ship material as requested
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
- Proficient with Google Suite, NetSuite,Jira and other Supply Chain tools
- Minimum of 4+yrs(for Mid level) and 5+(for Senior) of experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing
- Experience in purchasing hardware components including custom sheet metal fabrication,custom machined components, custom electrical harness and PCBs, various off the shelf components
- Experience with component consignment to outside suppliers
- Highly organized with excellent time management to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving ability with good communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with proven ability to deliver complex analysis, reconciliations and reports
- Professional demeanor and solid teamwork skills to foster collaborative relationships across all business segments and locations.

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions.
