The Sr. Project Manager, VM/Creative Operations is an independent, self-starting professional responsible for defining and implementing the processes, structure, and operational framework to manage all Visual Merchandising (VM) projects, milestones, and daily operations. This role ensures key VM projects across all brands are executed on time and on budget, managing them from kickoff through final execution. The Sr Project Manager provides essential operational support to the VM team and serves as the main liaison between our creative team and our marketing team in support of all in-store visual representations of the brand.

The Sr. Project Manager, VM/Creative Operations is an independent, self-starting professional responsible for defining and implementing the processes, structure, and operational framework to manage all Visual Merchandising (VM) projects, milestones, and daily operations. This role ensures key VM projects across all brands are executed on time and on budget, managing them from kickoff through final execution. The Sr Project Manager provides essential operational support to the VM team and serves as the main liaison between our creative team and our marketing team in support of all in-store visual representations of the brand.
What You’ll Do
- Manage overall timelines for all VM projects from kickoff to final execution (50% VM/ 20% Creative Ops).
- Lead weekly team status meetings with cross-functional partners and leadership to track milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
- Develop detailed program timelines, detailing key steps like fixture development, graphics production, creative reviews, and final approvals.
- Act as the primary point person and owner for all financials and budgets, collecting cost details from vendors to drive engineering decisions and find efficiencies.
- Manage and maintain the VM budget tracker and process all vendor invoices for submission to Accounts Payable.
- Proactively identify any project challenges and directly resolve issues with cross-functional team members.
- Route VM graphics in Asana for approval and manage all translation requests, specifically routing Canada VM graphics to Trados for translation.
- Act as a proxy to the Sr. Program Traffic Manager in meetings and calls with regional partners and vendors (20% of time).
What We Are Looking For
- College degree required.
- 5-7 years of project management experience in retail or agency; visual merchandising project management experience is a strong plus.
- Solid organizational skills, detail-orientation, and proven ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficient knowledge of computer programs including Asana, Google Sheets, Excel, Word, and SmartSheets.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to collaborate across various disciplines.
- Proven ability to work in a very fast-paced, agile environment and consistently meet tight deadlines.
