Lucid Motors is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Program Manager, Remarketing to lead and optimize all operational aspects of our pre-owned vehicle program. This role is instrumental in ensuring efficiency, profitability, and a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring significant expertise in automotive operations, particularly in pre-owned vehicle lifecycle management, and demonstrate an ability to independently drive complex projects to completion.  This is a hands-on, strategic role for a candidate who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the complete lifecycle of pre-owned vehicles, including intake, reconditioning, logistics, quality assurance, and sales preparation.

Operational Excellence:
Design, refine, and execute operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistent quality standards across the pre-owned vehicle program.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams (sales, service, delivery) and external vendors to optimize workflows, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.

Vendor and Partner Coordination: Manage third-party vendors responsible for reconditioning, transport, and logistics, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

Data-Driven Problem Solving:
Use data to identify operational bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and implement actionable solutions to enhance performance metrics such as refurbishment timelines and inventory turnover.

KPI Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including refurbishment quality, delivery timelines, and sales readiness.

Market Analysis and Pricing Strategy Support:
Support pricing strategies through analysis of market trends, competitor benchmarks, and operational cost structures to maximize profitability.

Project Leadership:
Lead and execute special projects to drive innovation and scalability within the pre-owned vehicle program.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive operations, with a focus on pre-owned vehicle inventory management and reconditioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and dealership management systems.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Automotive Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

 

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$105,400$144,980 USD
