Team Description:

This role is located within the Enterprise Products Organization under the Financial Value Chain business solutions area.  Finance Value Chains will be delivering Priority Business Solutions aligned with the enterprise architecture for the Finance, Tax and Treasury Value Chains. We lead with a Business Architecture framework and own the core financial systems and related functions domain technology roadmap.

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for delivering programs and projects across the Core Finance value chains. The span of the role will encompass portfolio planning, project management, delivery execution, and strategic planning.

**This is an estimated 18-month Project Hire position, with no guarantee of permanent placement.**

What You’ll Do:

  • Accountable for technical delivery of large-scale, complex finance system implementations

  • Responsible for leading the delivery of projects with a team consisting of project managers, solution architects, product and engineering (S/W) teams

  • Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, other technology partners and delivery managers

  • Interfaces with key partners and vendors, ensuring they understand both program and project deliverables, meet timing, and cost deadlines, and collaborate with internal project stakeholders to achieve project results

  • Actively leads project planning and overall strategy, to include resource needs identification

  • Leads project approval activities

  • Actively leads in establishing and tracking progress to key performance indicators

  • Responsible for evaluating and tracking overall project health and status; producing actionable insights

  • Constantly looking ahead to identify project delivery problems and shortfalls, proposing and actioning solutions

  • Identifies and ensures Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions (RAID) are logged and actioned; works with project management and execution team to resolve items

  • Proactively identifies and actively leads in the resolution of issues and conflicts

  • Responsible for escalations to leadership and to vendors as appropriate to drive results

  • Leads/participates in sourcing and contracting activities

  • Consistently works with the project management team to review program expenditures against the program operating expense and capital budgets

  • Continually apprises leadership and relevant business stakeholders of status and anything not on track

  • Communicates successes supported by metrics/KPIs illustrating the business value of IT solutions

  • Ensures clear communication of project scopes, timing, prioritization, budgets, resource needs, and progress on an ongoing basis

  • Builds strong relationships and partners with large and diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise

  • Participates in strategic planning and roadmapping for the portfolio

  • Responsible for mentoring team members

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience leading large complex program implementations

  • Experience establishing and driving strategy and design for, and implementing and/or upgrading major ERP / Finance/ HR platforms

  • Experience leading large project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners

  • Experience managing program, project and team budget and financials

  • Experience with Security and Compliance

  • Finance, Accounting or Tax experience is a major plus

  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus

  • Media & Entertainment experience is a plus

  • Experience influencing and project managing high-performance and highly-motivated teams

  • Proven track record of execution--driving results and meeting commitments

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

  • Masters degree preferred

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $155,700 - $200,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
