The Sr Product Specialist plays an essential role in the successful execution of G.E.H.A’s product development and enhancement initiatives. This position manages project timelines, facilitates cross-departmental collaboration, and ensures the accurate and timely delivery of materials that support decision-making at the leadership level This individual will demonstrate strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys blending project coordination, data organization, and presentation support to help drive product excellence.SKILLSResponsibilities:
- Coordinate and track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for multiple product initiatives, and assist in the coordination and testing of new and existing projects to ensure accurate implementation.
- Partner with internal teams (Actuary, Marketing, Customer Experience, Networks, Vendors, etc.) to collect and organize data that supports benefit design and product updates.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, process materials, and the team’s shared resource site (SharePoint) to ensure organized and accessible program information.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for product materials, OPM filings, and internal/external member-facing communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and written materials for leadership and board-level meetings.
- Synthesize data and insights into concise summaries and recommendations for decision-making.
- Provide high-level, confidential support to Product leadership, including meeting preparation, coordination, and timely follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and progress on initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or closely related field. Additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of education.
- 5+ years of experience in project or product support or a related field, preferably in healthcare
- Direct experience performing work of a highly responsible and confidential nature; or any combination of education and experience providing the types and levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the job.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Windows and advanced features of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in presenting information clearly and effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings to executives or board members.
- Proven ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within health insurance, healthcare administration, or product development environments.
- Familiarity with project management or workflow tools (Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
Work-at-home requirements
- Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
- Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
- Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The hiring range for this position is $91,632 - $115,920 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $129,168 USD.
