The Product Strategy & Operations team partners closely with a variety of stakeholders and is responsible for driving and maintaining operational excellence both within the Product team, as well as between the Product team and key partners across Business, Program, and Engineering stakeholders (and beyond). Your responsibilities will range from contributing to managing our cost allocations and capital plans, to driving product management deliverable and communications processes, to raising the bar on organizational health. Job Summary
The Sr. Product Operations Manager will be part of the Product Strategy & Operations team, which is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems and processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Product Team. This role will bias toward cross-team and executive communications, team health, and operational governance.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement within the product team by designing and implementing systems & processes, measuring objectives, and driving team cohesion
- Support the operationalization of the Product Management team's OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), including implementing standardized tracking, reporting on progress and socialization across the team and throughout the broader organization.
- Manage and organize processes in support of cross-team communications, including Status Reporting, Newsletters & Executive Reporting
- Ensure accurate, precise, and evergreen visibility across the landscape of Product deliverables, including regular readouts internally, to executive leadership, and to the broader organization
- Ensure that Product processes are clear, well documented, well understood, and continuously evaluated and iterated upon, chasing continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- 7+ years in a product, operations, program management, or similar role with experience supporting technical product development
- Experience supporting highly complex projects across multiple functions & teams
- Highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions in ambiguous situations
- Ability to lead through influence across functional and organizational lines
- Experience presenting to and working with senior executive leaders
- Excellent written communication skills with experience creating documents and presentations for executive audiences.
- Knowledge of Agile/SDLC project management methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Media & Entertainment Industry
- Experience supporting large-scale Product Management organizations
- Advanced visual presentation skills
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Strong experience with collaboration and project management tools (Jira, Airtable, Confluence, etc.)
- Advanced experience and aptitude with Powerpoint/Keynote/Google Slides/etc.
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $136,100 to $182,400 year, in San Francisco is $149,000 to $199,800,200 per year, and New York, NY or Seattle, WA is between $142,600 to $191,100. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
