Lead the development of consumer nutrition products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered strategies and enhance product performance.
At WISEcode, we're a well-funded, dynamic startup. WISEcode makes personalized nutrition a reality based on the facts – what truly is in our food — and marries this data with your preferences. Powered by AI and the world’s best food and nutrition database, WISEcode embraces the fact that we are all different, have different dietary needs, objectives, and preferences, and should not be at the mercy of market spin or “expert” opinion. Every one of us should have the information we need to make the best decisions for ourselves.
We are looking for a startup minded, accomplished Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of successfully developing, launching and scaling consumer app products (Ideally 0 to 1). The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of consumer market trends, the nutrition and health & wellness landscape, coupled with strong product leadership skills. You will work closely with the founder of the company, CTO, product designers, data scientists, nutrition scientists, software developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to drive product development and create compelling customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
● Utilize your in-depth understanding of consumer behavior and preferences to develop and execute unique and differentiated product strategies that disrupt the food and nutrition industry.
● Lead one of the product’s development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with company objectives and consumer feedback
● Collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, and data analytics teams to create product roadmaps and prioritize features based on market trends, user feedback, and business goals
● Employ instrumentation, feature flag and A/B testing methodologies to continuously optimize product features, user flows, and conversion rates, making data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience
● Participate in product testing and quality assurance to ensure a high standard of performance
● Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and refine product designs
● Working closely with Product Design, co-develop and maintain wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively to internal teams and stakeholders
● Own the configuration of the CDP and define and analyze product metrics, user feedback, real-time customer behavior signal generation and market trends to iterate on existing products and identify new features or enhancements.
● Create comprehensive and well-structured documentation, including product specifications, user stories, and user guides, to ensure clear communication across cross-functional teams
● Document key decisions, feature requirements, and project updates to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout the product development lifecycle
● Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation, ensuring our products achieve the forefront of the market
Qualifications:
● 8+ years of proven experience in consumer product management, with a strong track record of successful product launches, especially 0 to 1M users
● Exceptional UI/UX sensibilities, with the ability to create wireframes, and proficiency in creating prototypes, and design mockups and strong collaboration with Product Designers.
● Background in computer science or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
● Demonstrated leadership through organizations, projects, or other extracurricular activities.
● Strong interest in technology, with examples of projects or interest areas such as hackathons or personal software development
● Proficiency in feature flags, A/B testing methodologies, instrumentation and data-driven decision-making
● Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
● Ability to influence and motivate cross functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
● Demonstrated ability to meaningfully instrument customer behavior in products, report on the data, generate actionable insights and product direction from the data and execute the new directions and features with customer satisfaction and increased product adoption
● Clear and concise writing style with a focus on conveying complex concepts in an understandable manner
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels of the organization
● Proficiency in agile development methodologies and project management tools.
● Passion for food, nutrition, ingredient quality and data
