Summary

Are you a systems-minded builder who loves turning complex, large, high-stake experiences into simple, enjoyable experiences? Topstep is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our Integrated Experiences domain- the future of trading experiences. You’ll define how traders can interact in new ways throughout the Topstep ecosystem, while playing a role in experiences of tomorrow. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep product judgment with strong execution instincts, and who’s ready to step into a position of broad influence across teams and functions. You’ll shape how we think about the future of our platform and help build the connective tissue that turns vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated experiences roadmap: building flexible integrated experiences throughout Topstep’s trading ecosystem, micro & macro experiences, flexible charting, and more.
  • Define clear problem statements and PRDs tied to user and business goals; translate vision into requirements for complex, cross-team releases.
  • Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Design, Data, Product Marketing, Support, and Risk to ship reliable, impactful solutions on time.
  • Elevate insight quality by running qualitative and quantitative research with traders; define and maintain source‑of‑truth dashboards for funnels, engagement, and feature adoption.
  • Establish the metrics that matter and regularly report performance; quantify feature ROI and inform resourcing trade-offs.
  • Align stakeholders on the roadmap and maintain crisp communication on scope, status, and decisions, driving value for our traders and business alike.
  • Build for scale and reliability by coordinating releases with usage of feature flags to de-risk changes, and keep performance under load

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • 5–8 years in Product Management, with material ownership of a complex, high‑stakes user journey and experience.
  • Experience in building across devices & screens: You’ve built products that span web interfaces, native mobile experiences, and more
  • Data-driven operator: Comfortable designing experiments and digging into dashboards/SQL to size opportunities and prove ROI.
  • At ease with scale - Demonstrated ability to deliver releases to high volume products where 0.1% differences have material impact
  • Execution & coordination: Proven record aligning multiple teams and shipping complex releases without losing the thread on outcomes.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication with the ability to create structure in ambiguity and drive clear decisions.

Safety and compliance mindset familiarity with operating constraints in trading or regulated environments; partners effectively with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.

Company Culture & Perks

  • Topstep is an engaging working environment which ranges from fully remote to hybrid. We foster a culture of collaboration with cameras on during meetings and a robust Slack environment for communication.
  • 10 Company paid Holidays and generous Family Leave. Paid time off is accrued monthly.
  • Competitive 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance is offered for full time employees
  • Vacations are encouraged with a bonus for taking 5 consecutive days. Employee referrals are bonused. Topstep offers a food and groceries budget and contributes towards health and wellness.

New Hire Base Salary Range

  • $160,000-$190,000
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
  • The compensation offered will take into account internal compensation structure and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
