Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Healthcare OS with a focus on Front-End Development, will play a key role in driving the design, implementation, and enhancement of user-facing components within the Healthcare OS platform. This role focuses on creating intuitive, scalable, and accessible interfaces that align with organizational goals and improve customer experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Product, the Product Manager will collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, and other product managers to translate user needs into functional front-end solutions. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for user experience and front-end technologies.

Primary Accountabilities:

Front-End Product Vision and Strategy (30%)

  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the front-end components of the Healthcare OS platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.

  • Incorporate customer feedback into product planning to ensure features address user needs and drive engagement.

Product Development and Delivery (50%)

  • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize, develop, and deliver front-end features, ensuring scalability and performance.

  • Maintain and update the product backlog, ensuring that requirements are well-documented and aligned with business goals.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure features meet quality and functional requirements before release.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)

  • Partner with back-end product managers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.

  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on front-end goals and deliverables.

  • Advocate for front-end best practices, including accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, design, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years in product management, with at least 2 years focusing on front-end development or user interfaces.

    • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

    • Experience working with UX/UI teams and translating design concepts into functional requirements.

Soft Skills:

  • User-Centric Mindset: Strong understanding of user experience principles and accessibility standards.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across teams and build alignment between stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures clarity and precision in documentation, testing, and delivery.

  • Communication: Skilled at translating technical concepts into actionable plans for diverse audiences.

  • Deliver accessible, scalable front-end features that enhance the user experience and align with business goals.

  • Develop and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog, driving efficient and effective development cycles.
